Below are a number of links that I find particularly useful. Keep in mind that this is not meant to be a comprehensive set of links; it is a bit more selective than that. More of a professional referral, in link library form, to companies or individuals who have especially useful products or websites.

In many cases, I have personally dealt with or have first-hand experience with many of the people or companies who are represented on the net by the websites below. If not, then I have the assurance, either through second-hand information or by the virtue of a solid reputation in the trombone world, that each individual, group, service, or product below is worth recommending to others.

In any market, it is through references, referrals, and positive recommendations that a person is brought to the front, or a product or company grown through exposure. This is especially true in the trombone world, as with most musical instruments. This is me doing what I can to help out my fellow trombone players and companies who cater to and serve them.

Keep in mind that many of the most successful individuals or products have created their own niche in the market. Which is a great thing for all who benefit from these new and original areas of interest, services, products, what have you. However, it also makes categorizing each that much more difficult, as there are inevitably overlaps between categories and unique details that defy broad-sweeping generalizations. Just to name one example: Greenhoe sells their own take and build of Bachs, Conns, and is developing their own line of horns, in addition to the creation of components such as the vaunted and highly respected Greenhoe valve mechanism. So, just be aware that the categories are for organization's sake alone.
